The California State License Board & California State Law require us to maintain valid workman’s comp insurance policy and a $7500 bond to keep our license active and current.

As licensed contractors, we are required, by law, to provide our customers with a one year workmanship guarantee – Angie’s List was really impressed that TuFFGrass offers a 10 year installation guarantee – 9 years more than required in California.

In California, a specialty license (C-61) for synthetic products (D-12) (or C61/D12) license OR a license for landscaping (C-27) are required to contract for and install artificial turf grass. A minimum of 4 years of work experience is required before you can apply for these types of licenses.

ANY COMPANY THAT SOLICITS AND THEN ENTERS INTO A CONTRACT FOR MORE THAN $500 FOR CONSTRUCTION HERE IN CALIFORNIA requires a valid, active license!
